Metro Meals on Wheels was one of eleven nonprofit organizations selected to participate in a 24 hour website re-design extravaganza! A team of talented computer designers and programmers (Go Team Pollywogs!) donated 24 hours straight to build a better website for Metro Meals on Wheels. You can see the results! Thanks to VISI, New Horizons and Sierra Bravo for sponsoring this event.

Meals on Wheels Working to Increase Seniors’ Access to Healthy Foods

A nutritious diet is important, particularly for seniors, to avoid illness, recover from injury and live longer lives. That’s why Metro Meals on Wheels has partnered with Minnesota’s Nutritious Food Coalition, a statewide effort to increase participation in the state’s Food Support, formerly Food Stamp, program.
