Metro Meals on Wheels hosts a variety of events throughout the year to help build awareness, recruit volunteers, and raise money for Meals on Wheels in the Twin Cities. Attending these events is a fun and easy way to get involved with MMOW.

Meals on Heels

Meals on Heels 2012 is Thursday, August 16th from 6-9 p.m. at the Harriet Island Pavilion. Buy Tickets!

A fresh event with a budget-friendly ticket price of $25 per person. Restaurants from around the Twin Cities offer menu and beverage tastings, a competition for the event’s best heels, and live entertainment. It’s the Party with a Purpose!

We are proud to announce that in 2012 Winter Restaurant Week will bring even more to the table, as Mpls.St.Paul Magazine and Metro Meals on Wheels have created a community parternship to connect the diverse groups of foodies and diners in the Twin Cities to the work of Meals on Wheels.


Blizzard Box Blitz In just two days, we organize a volunteer experience like none other, packing 9,000 shelf-stable meals into 4,500 boxes to be delivered to MOW recipients across the metro. The boxes provide nutritious meal options in the event a regularly meal delivery is interrupted by our Minnesota weather. Watch a 45-second Blitz video!
Member Events As the association for 37 Meals on Wheels programs in the Twin Cities, we help promote and encourage the community to get involved at any number of events hosted by our members. From pancake breakfasts to live music festivals, they have it all!

Meals on Wheels Releases Results of Return On Investment Study

Meals on Wheels recently partnered with University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management to determine the Return on Taxpayer Investment (ROTI) for Meals on Wheels.
