MMOW has worked with community and corporate groups to organize volunteer delivery teams, make crafts/cards, participate at special events, and work with our board committees. Some of our past volunteer groups include a variety of Girl Scout Troops, Cargill, and Target Corporate.
Metro Meals on Wheels invites you, your co-workers, and friends to get involved by helping homebound people. Local companies and social groups of all sizes are involved. Shouldn’t you be too?

Testimonials
"I volunteer for Meals on Wheels because it helps support homebound elderly individuals by providing them a nutritious hot meal, a personal check in, and helps their effort to maintain independent living. I'm proud to be part of Xcel Energy's volunteer involvement with Meals on Wheels and I know it benefits our community, our employees, and our company."
- Michael Connelly, Vice President and General Counsel, Xcel Energy Inc.
"I'm proud to work for a company that puts volunteerism at the heart of its culture. Over the last 15 years, I've volunteered alongside hundreds of Target Volunteers to deliver meals across the Twin Cities. Fulfilling a need in the community and witnessing the appreciation Metro Meals on Wheels brings to others is truly rewarding."
- Greg Duppler, Senior Vice President, Target
"For 3Mers, Meals on Wheels has proven to be a great way to give back to the community during the work day. With a small investment of time, employees are able to connect with 3M's neighbors and return to the office with an energizing sense of accomplishment, because they have directly helped someone to remain healthy and living at home."
- Allison Janusz, 3M Community Affairs
