Delivering meals for Meals on Wheels is the most adaptable volunteer opportunity in the Twin Cities. The typical delivery route takes 30-60 minutes to complete, and our local programs will work with you to schedule your volunteer delivery around your availability. Meals on Wheels Working to Increase Seniors’ Access to Healthy Foods

A nutritious diet is important, particularly for seniors, to avoid illness, recover from injury and live longer lives. That’s why Metro Meals on Wheels has partnered with Minnesota’s Nutritious Food Coalition, a statewide effort to increase participation in the state’s Food Support, formerly Food Stamp, program.
