Who makes the meals?

Each program site gets their meals from a variety of places; most are from a hospital, school district, or nursing home where their program is located, or a caterer like Taher or Lettuce Cater.

When are they delivered?

Meals on delivered Monday through Friday, between 11am and 1pm.

How much do they cost?

On average, each meal costs between $3-6

How does someone qualify to receive meals?

Generally if someone is unable to purchase or prepare a nutritious meal, or they are elderly, homebound, or disabled, they qualify. There are no set standards

How do I get signed up to receive meals?

Use the map or program directory to find your local program, or call 612-623-3363.

Do you cater to special diets?

Most programs can accommodate different kinds of diets. For Kosher or Asian meals, there are specific programs that focus on those types of meals. There is also a program tha focuses on meals just for clients with ALS, breast cancer, and HIV?AIDS.

Can I receive meals for a short period of time?

Yes
